Has The Immigration Officer Made An Error?

Featured Replies

I returned from KL on April 24th with a tourist visa that expires on July 22nd.

(which I assume is valid for a 60 day period, admitted until June 24th)

Upon arriving at Hkt, I receive a stamp for the 24th of april and it states,

Admitted until : 22 JUL 2008.

My question is : Has the immigration officer included the 30 day extension period on my visa?

If no :Was this an error?

If Yes : Should I report my case to an immigration office

Thank you

Looks like an error; your stay should end on 22-Jun-2008.

I would report to immigration as they most likely have you listed for 60 days in computer but picked up the wrong stamp.

Yes ! otherwise they might slapped you with overstay 30 days X Bht500, on grounds that you should have known better.

July 22 is 88 days looks like they got here stamps wrong happened to me ar BKK and aguy ran out to find me and alter it!

I would pop in and check to avoid any fine hassle
