Forget the internal WiFi for the Presario 2500. I had that Laptop and the only available is the 802.11b which is 10 Mbps, so very slow.

But you can use the PCMCIA WiFiCard which are available up to 100 Mbps.

The PCMCIA Slot is on the left side of the Laptop, if you sit in front if it. That are the Cards which looking like a thick Checkcard.

It looks like the one of this picture:

If you want buy one look for an 54 or 108 Mbps Card.
