Day Counting

Featured Replies

As it seems that Spore Embassy is now only issuing single entry Non O visas, are the immigration guys still counting the days as you enter anyone know? My visa runs out end of next month.I dont reside in Thailand but my family does and I commute every weekend form Hong Kong.Having the visa made life alot easier but those days have now gone it seems ..again.So will I be getting the silly yellow highlighted marks in my passport again and helping the guy count the days and stamps?

:o

There has been no change in the 90 days in six month rule for visa exempt entry.

The OP seems to be a bit confused as he talks about his "visa" running out end next month so it can't be a 30 day visa exempt stamp (confirmed by mention of single entry non O's) but then talks about counting days and yellow highlighter marks which suggests it is visa exemption stamp.

No confusion.I have a multiple Non O visa so it helps me around the 90 day/6mth rule.As I dont reside in Thailand,my family do, having this makes it alot easier coming in and out every weeknd. Before I had this coming in and out the Immigration at the airport count the days and highlight in yellow marker pen each entry.

I have not heard of Singapore not giving out multi non-o visas for people with Thai spouses if they have 400K baht in the bank. KL might even do this.

There was a report today from Singapore that an applicant was told they will no longer issue multi entry non immigrant O visas. Although the same person reported a new price list starting May 1 on the wall listed that type of visa and the price.
