I don't like the monopole attitude of the public buses, and have found many times that services can be better in some private ones. twschw Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 I take Chan Tour to Khon Kaen and have been pleased with them. It takes about 6 hours, not sure how long to Nong Khai. The train to KK takes 19 hours so really not practical. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have taken a few buses when I first arrived and I will nver do it again, I fly or drive now. bus drivers over here think they are in a sports car, far to mad for my liking. but that just me! maybe there are people out there that enjoy nearly dying to visit someplace?
