TOT connection is slow

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have an internet caf and I use TOT, I'm supposed to have 2 mbps but it takes 10 min to open hotmail or any website outside thailand. Does anyone know why the connection is so bad and what is the best internet acces provider. For info I'm located in the province of Trat.

Thanks in advance.

Tod, perhaps a change of title is in order?

What kind of account you use? a Home or a SME/Business account?

Tod, I have changed your topic title to one less offensive to others. In the future, perhaps you should use a bit more sensitivity in choosing a topic title.

Well, here in Bangkok .... running smooth ..... upto 200Kbs downloads ... Guess not too many people in Trat to share your sorrow ....

you on ko chang?

I recently switched to CAT's Hi-Net. I pay about 2.5K a month for a 2MB G.SHDSL line. It really rocks. I had TT&T before, and it was p*ss poor. Well worth changing.

I had CAT hinet on a TT&T line and that was super sh*t worthless, 10 sec up and 60 sec down. No service no refunds, only threats with the MIB if I didnt pay.

Have now since begin this year a new TOT line, and it's ok but in the last week it's very slow here in Phuket.
