Illicit cigarettes seized in Buriram; 42 million baht loss reported
So Bht 42M divided by (51000 + 151) makes Bht 821 LOST PER PACK. I guess it really means CARTONS as opposed to packs, but the poor Government only loses the TAX & DUTY on those fags, not the total value. But it sounds good for the Police! -

Bored of Bangkok... Any advice to an alternative place to live?
I regret I didn't visit Kanchanaburi... when I went to check out Ban Pong last week. Not much there. Some nice homes along the river but markets etc were untidy, messy, and traffic real bad on narrow streets. Real reason was, as usual, hot date 🙂 That didn't go well neither. However, cheapest ticket (30 B) train trips were fun. To be the only farang... -
