A friend told me thare was a low rise condo block planned for the area near Nopparat Thara beach. But I havent been able to find any info about these online and there doesnt seem to be anything on the Krabi real estate agents websites.

Anyone on the ground in the area know anything?

This is Mandawee Condo with 8 stories about 60 units to be completed within a month or two

The first phaze is finished and the second block is due to be finished this month....may be finished already.

It is set within the mandawee resort and spa , a development of pool villas and 2 condo blocks.

I have my 1 bed condo for sale in the first block, with 3 years guaranteed rent and with the option to renew for another 3 years.

Mandaweee is overpriced, you can even find cheaper at Phuket, and right, the second building will be finished within few month (but not december for sure!): http://www.mandaweeresort.com/condo.html

There is also this one, but the Italian owners claims that it's impossible to put a condo in your own farang name in Thailand, quite weird, and I guess it's because it's company is not allowed to officially sell condo, so if you buy you just get a contract saying that you have bought and are owner...

True you can find cheaper in Phuket, and BKK too , but isn't that because there is an oversupply.

Krabi has only 1 finished condominium project at the moment, so i wouldn't say overpriced.

The AtSea condo is another project, but Klong Muang has nothing to offer IMO. Great for 5 star hotel luxury, but not many restaurants/bars do well over there.
