Featured Replies

Hi guys

Can any of you recomend a good thai bank for me? I only have a couple of requests

1) Free use of ATM (if I can get that)

2) English internet banking

3) Can creat an international account to move money from one country to another

4) Easy and good for buying stocks

5) Good service

If you can come up with more good things about a bank plase write

Best regards

MK

Not trying to be funny but think you would be expecting too from a Thai bank with your requirements certainly with items 3 and 4 (assuming you trading stocks which are not Thai based...

I personally would be looking at setting this type of account up outside Thailand, say Singapore and you would be able to do all things you list.

I have an account with the same features with CitiBank International Personal Banking out of Singapore and get free ATM use in Thailand (condition is you maintain your balance above US$ 20,000)...

Online banking is in English

Can hold multiple currency sub-accounts (US$, Euro, Sing Dollar etc), with primary account will be in US$...moving money about is easy

Can trade stocks and shares on NYSE and AMEX

Have been with them for quite a fews and always excellent customer service

Only limitation on this type of account is if you are a US citizen...there is more paper work to fill in...Re the IRS
