I am a frequent visitor to LOS, but spend so little time in Khrungthep. Which of

the two major venues for Muay Thai is recommended? Lumphini or Ratchadamnoen

for the best bouts for the money? Does it still hold true that Tuesday nights at

Lumphini provide some of the best boxing available? Upcoming visit will have us

hosting our adult sons for a visit to the land of their mother.

I'd say Lumpini, it's more atmospheric in my opinion.

Don't bother getting a ringside seat, you can see perfectly well from the stand and it's good to be close to the Thais betting etc.

You should have time to check them both out though..........they are well worth it

Also be firm with the pesky touts outside , they try to sell you overpriced seats , and need to be told 3 or 4 times before they bugger off.

Tuesday is good for Lumpini.

Ratchadamnoen is my fave though.
