Let's take this step by step. Assuming you haven't just got excited and connected the printer to your computer, the next bit is easy.

1. Click on the folder you have saved to your Desktop. This will (hopefully) be the Install Wizard for your computer. It will either create a folder in C:\Program Files\ or on the C: drive. Now - when you turn the power on your computer, you should get a small pop-up box on the bottom right corner of your screen saying: Found new hardware. Installing your hardware. Your hardware is now ready for use.

If you have paper in the printer, it usually prints a test page.

Alternatively, I have you have tried to install your printer (without success), go to Start > Settings > Printers and Faxes. Open that right up. Check to see if you printer is installed. Yes - or - no ??? Maybe your printer is installed and it is not the DEFAULT printer. Make your Epsom printer the default (if it is installed). I had a similar problem once - it listed an old Canon printer I no longer had connected as the default printer.

That's enough brain work for now -- please keep us posted.
