Dongtan Beach:land Between Vt5 And Vt7

Featured Replies

Many will have noticed that the green iron fence has been removed from the large piece of land separating VTs 5 and 7 and the site is currently being cleared of rubbish and flattened. Rumour has it that this is not, at least for now, another VT, but that the VT owners have leased the site on a short term basis to an amusement park operator who is planning to bring in around 15 "rides" and use the rest of the area as a car park.

Unless there are very tight noise and opening time controls, it is difficult to see how this move will encourage further sales of either of the two VTs, but one thing seems for sure, give it 12-18mths and the owners and residents of JCC, VT5, VT7, Grand Condotel etc and the management of Avalon Resort will probably be begging VT to build some 29 story towers on that land just so that they can sleep again at nights.

We have just visited the site but could get no definite information.

Does anyone know who the concessionaire is and whether they are looking for more rides?

This is a welcome development. The beach area is short of amusements for visitors.

Its amazing what this greedy View Talay Thai-Chinese fat guy can get away with. I know of several who bought at the new VT on beach road with nice sea views. What the VT sales office forgot to tell them is that now Central Festival is building a 22 story high hotel and shopping mall, so their sea view is now shopping mall wall view.

When investing in Pattaya, just dont buy View Talay or anything close to their buildings and you will be fine.

Sticking to quality projects like Ananya and Raimonland has made me a fortune and they still all got their sea views intact :o

Again one of those unsubstantiated truths?

Actually he's not fat at all, rather slender in fact.

But, hey, when you're a banana peel away from slandering someone, why bother with facts? :o

Since when is the central festival at the seaside from that VT?
