We are the only children. Thai Embassy in my country said, you can get Family Visa to my parents. What is that? Do you have any knowledge about that visa type? If there is some kind of visa like that, what are the conditions?

My parents are retired people. Their total retirement salary (not per each, together) is 65.000 Baht per month. Are they allowed to get The Retirement Visa? Or is that Family Visa thing better way to stay in Thailand? And if they get that Family Visa, do they have to go visa run periodically?

One of your parents can get a yearly extension based on retirement with 65,000 Baht monthly income.

The other can get the same extension based on being His/Hers dependent.

What is a green passport?

I think they give that Green Passport to high goverment workers as a privilege in my country. I don't know if it's international thing or just special to my country. If you don't know anything about that green passport, it must be special to my country. I think i can learn more about that, from my goverment.

I think retirement visa is the best way for them.Thank you so much for your help.
