Local Massage Parlour Owner Complains About Alleged

SOURCE: Pattaya City News: May 17th 2008

Local massage Parlor owner complains about alleged illegal search by Police Officer.

An unusual complaint was made to Pattaya Police Station in the early hours of Saturday Morning by Khun Reungchai aged 51, the owner of Sabailand Massage on Pattaya Second Road. He claimed he was approached by a Police Officer, named as Police Sub-Lieutenant Somshai who was in full uniform and 2 other junior officers, who demanded to check his car.

Khun Reungchai asked to see a search warrant which was not forthcoming. The Officer told him that if he had a problem with the search he could call his boss. The call was never made and the search took place and nothing was found inside the car.

The search caused a commotion around the Massage Parlor and a crowd gathered which caused Khun Reungchai some embarrassment. Investigations are now underway as to why the officer conducted the search without the correct paperwork and Khun Reungchai is considering further action at this time.

There is a possibility that Khun Reungchai was being victimised by Pattaya Police Officers who had been refused a 'freebie' session.

Sabailand massage is a well run establishmemt and we should offer Khun Reungchai our full support!
