Does anyone know of a farang friendly bank in Pattaya with branches in Laos, perferrable Vientiene?

I am staying in Pattaya for 3 more months before traveling on the Laos and would prefer not to have to withdraw or transfer my funds when I do so.

While there are Thai banks in Laos (Vientiane) their systems are not connected to the their counterpart banks in Thailand. The banks are for commercial use only, as far as I know, and they don't have ATMs. My advice is to bring Thai Baht cash and exchange it into Lao Kip when you need to. You can withdraw Lao Kip from a Lao bank at their ATMs, but the fees are a bit high. Depends on how long you're staying in Laos. Hope this helps.
