Non Immigrant The Second Year Extension

Featured Replies

Hi all,Thank you thaivisa.com/forum for provided all the useful info.My first year visa extension for supporting thai wife expire this oct.My wife call Immigration Bureau in this morning bangkok, the officer told her that i can apply the non imm visa in bangkok instead of apply it in oversea. My question is,am i have to go through the process like the first year or i do not have to leave the country? Thanks in advance.

You do not need a visa or have to leave the country - all you need is another extension of stay for one year and you will do it the same way you did last year and your wife will have to be with you. You should apply with about 3 week remaining and will have to return for final stamp about 30 days later.

One small point.

The extension is nothing to do with supporting your wife. It is to enable you to live with her. She can be supporting you. It makes no difference.

As said , do the same as you did last year in Bangkok.

That means 3weeks before the one extension expired i just goes to Immigration office in suan plu and apply for the second year extension without have to leave the country. :o

Yes between 3-4 weeks.

If you have the same documentation as last year you will not have a problem.
