I really reccomend L'oreal elvive shampoo(I think it's called this - it's the yellow bottle) for this climate. It is more expensive than sunsilk, and I find I have to use the conditioner once every two washes otherwise my hair is a bit flat, but it makes it shiny and smooth and manageable and I get lovely curls and no frizz! You don't have to use a lot either. If anyone can reccommend a good conditioner that is not as heavy I would be very grateful - I have very normal hair not dry or greasy. It's straight in england, but curly here. Thanks!!

All I want from any shampoo is CLEAN & HEALTHLY hair. So far I've found that in only Pentene!

Now I'm beautiful and smell good too! :o

I used to use all/different sorts of hair products. Things change when I dated a long-haired bloke for a few weeks. It was a messy relationship coz I just left my bf for 2.5 years who was my roommate at that time, and the guy I dated was his best friend. OK, that was naughty of me but, my <deleted> xbf cheated on me and drove a rusty nail deep in my heart. I wanted my revenge. It was a messy break-up. But something good came out of it when I noticed that the new bloke had shinier and bouncier hair than yours truly. I raided his bathroom and found out that he uses REJOICE RICH with ginseng. It's been 3.5 years since I dumped the bloke, but I'm still using Rejoice Rich. Now, I have shiny, bouncy long beautiful hair.

ha- that would make a great commercial, you should send your post to the company :o ....what is the black sunsilk bottle for? i used to use pantene and the loreal elvive that mssabai is talking about... now i use the pure coconut oil shampoo and conditioner that i buy at boots. it makes my hair smooth and shiny and it smells so good!

p.s. i have perfectly straight, medium length, very fine dark hair.

Hi MsSabai, I found the Elivive shampoo good but the conditioner was too heavy too! :D Even though I don;t have dandruff I LOVE the Head and Shoulders Shampoo (Pink one) - great for frequent washes and a good price!

FOR CONDITIONER - Try Boots - Charles Worthington Results Conditioner - it's on promotion at 275bt rather than 300bt at mo but is a HUGE 250ml and you don't need much so it lasts ages.

I used to buy the 'SuperConditioner' one in the range - peachey/orangey bottle - but I just bought a new bottle last week and noticed they have changed the packaging :D . So I picked up the 'Moisture seal' one - in buttercup yellow bottle! Not opened it yet but hope it does the same job! :o

Happy Hair Days!

Hey Andiamo...

Thanks for that, you truly are a fountain of product knowledge! It is pretty pricey but I will give it a go. I only have to condition once every two washes...so that's only once every 4 days. Guess it's a small price to pay for bouncier locks! Think I will have to invest in a cheaper conditioner too though as I know the bloke has been filching mine!
