Anyone know a bakery that may have artisan bread, soft an lacey inside with crisp chewy crust?

Preferably one that is steamed as in the traditional way. Ciabatta, etc.

just got a load of French Wheat flower in which, at 68.00 Baht a Kilo wohlesale is probably the most expensive you can get here, much more than the usual stuff retail!

If you mean by artisan Bread, a Bread that doesn't look, feel or taste like styrofoam or cardboard but has body and flavor and a decent crust, we will be serving this as our sandwich-rolls / bread. I have decided to bake my own for the Bistro - made some test batches today and tomorrow is baking real bread day !

dam_n hard to find good bread in Bangkok. Bei Otto has a good selection and I usually pick up some fresh baguette from the Siam Paragon supermarket.
