Wanted: Affordable Projector For 2mm Slides

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a store where I can buy a reasonably priced 35mm slide projector (apart from ebay)? My ancient model has given up the ghost and I'm left with a lifetime's legacy of slides whichI my family and I can no longer view - plus a stand, screen etc all gathering dust. Or maybe someone has a second hand slide projector for sale? If so, I'm in the market.

I suppose an alternative is to invest in a new scanner which also takes slides. Trouble is I've got nearly a thousand of these, and I imagine inputting them into the computer might take longer than I've got at nearly 70! Again any recommendation as to scanners and stores stocking them would be appreciated. I've found nothing so far in Cha Am, where I live, or Hua Hin.

Ma you take a Sunday Trip to Bangkoks China Town, special the Klong Thom Area while there's every Sunday morning (and the whole day) a Flea Market where you can find for sure what you looking for.

There also some shops at Atsadang Road whhich selling that Projectors as 2. Hnd.

The Atsadang Road I on the border of the China Town, starting by the Royal Hotel, near the Sanam Luang.

Cheers.

A project like that (scanning 3000 slides into digital format) is just the sort of thing to keep you on your toes, OLD TIMER!

Just taking the piss outta ya mate.
