Shuddee Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 I can remember when I was doing consulting work in Europe and I made a trip to Sweden. I fancied a trip up north from central Europe. Didn't want to see London nor Ireland, but wanted to see Scandinavia. Sweden was truly a delight. Not only did I meet a gorgeous flame there, who showed me around, but I found one of, what I consider to be, the best museums around. It was the Vasa Museum (no pics needed). The Boat Museum. Though it's been awhile ago, I can remember touring this great place and seeing some of the maritime history of the great city of Stockholm. Met some interesting friends along the way too. Didn't stay in a four star hotel, but preferred to stay in a Youth Hostel, which was located on a boat just across from the four star. Truly a delight. I will forever cherish my trip there, remember its cobblestone streets, and would recommend to anyone a trip to Sweden. A buddy of mine met his wife there (a Swede), and now they are back home not far from where we were raised, have two children, and are very happy. Here's to Sweden!
