Learning How To Grow Orchids

I've recently taken an interest in growing and hopefully later propagating orchids. I realise that orchid growing is a highly specialised art and requires a fair amount of expertise. I've read some useful books on the subject, but am now looking for some practical, hands on, experience / and advice.

So my question ........is anyone aware of a nursery or organisation or even an individual that runs orchid growing classes in Thailand? I'm living in Phuket, but would be happy to travel to another region in order to learn more from an expert.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Glen
