Thai Bank Atm Fees In Uk And Singapore

Featured Replies

I regularly use Bangkok Bank, Siam Commercial and Kaisikorn Banks in LOS. I have to do some travelling to the UK and Singapore and wonder which would be the best and cheapest for ATM withdrawls.

Not interested in withdrawing £10 or such but £250 or so a time or local equivalent.

Any recent experience most welcome.

I don't know specifically about Thai ATM cards but all bank/building society ATM withdrawals in the UK are free of UK charges. Also free are the ATMs deployed by the supermarkets (Sainsburys/Tesco/Asda/Morrisons). There are ATMs which do make charges but those machines which do charge are required to have notices on them pointing out their charges.

Sure I'm aware of that but thanks anyway.

What I'm looking at is whether say Bangkok Bank charges Bt150 + 3% and Siam bank charges Bt100 + 2% or similar. Also, UK banks will charge as non UK bank cards. I suspect same in Singapore.

Any ideas anyone ?
