Urgent - How To Stay Long Time (3-4 Months) In Thailand ?

Featured Replies

Hello !

My first 30days Thai visa expires on next June 6th (in 2 days). I would like to stay another 3 or 4 months in Chiang Mai, to invest my time in a personnal hobby - not business related.

Am I allowed to aapply to a non-immigrant visa ?? Or I'll have to go with a 2 months tourist visa...

I am currently in Chiang Mai. Can I apply for this at the border with Myanmar? Or do I have to go to Laos' capital Vientiane ?

Thanks,

David

You have not got a Visa. You have a 30 day entry stamp.

Go to Vientianne and get a Tourist Visa from the Thai Embassy. You will probably get a double entry. Each entry is for 2 months and can be extended for 30 days at Immigration in Chiang Mai. This will give you about 6 months.
