I'd take steps to either remove it from my presence or relocate myself. Macx Posted June 16, 2008 Share Posted June 16, 2008 My pinky toe got bitten last week by a large reddish black ant. It felt like a needle going to the bone. Can't explain why it felt like that but it really did. The bite/sting hardly left a mark but it was very painful for 2 days and remained swollen for 3 days. It defies all logic, as I am a rather large western male who is not afraid to skydive, bungee jump, or eat scorpians, snakeblood, etc. I must have had some crazy experience with spiders when I was a young 'un.
