Acrylic Nails

Featured Replies

We are back in Thailand now and have acrylic nails - got them done in Bali and then again in Malaysia. Anyone know where they fill them in Bangkok? Thanks in advance.

I thought they did them in MBK. Could be wrong though.

Thanks - got them done up on khao san rd. - a shop called Jane's nail shop. They also do them at the night market near Sala Daeng - very cheap there, just didn't have time when we were there.

When you say cheap, how much do they cost?

The third floor of Siam center has a little nail shop that specializes in acrylic nails. If you come out of the Siam BTS via the walkway, go up one floor and its on the back wall (away from Sukhumvit) all the way to the right. About 1200 Baht for the full program and you can buy DIY touch up kits there too. They are all graduates of the LA nail institute and speak pretty good English.

Sorry I know all this.

I'm assuming your not a woman then xbusman :o

Sorry I know all this.

This is Thailand, you can never be too sure, but last I checked.....

LOL, whatever you are welcome to the ladies section :o

Ahhhhh, the ladies section. Jeeze, its so much cleaner over here. Things are put away nicely and the whole place... the whole place smells cleaner and fresher.

Uh, I think I will just slink off and go back to lurking in the dark and dirty mens side and lay around on the couch in my underwear drinking milk from the carton. Sorry to intrude but that acrylic nail information was awful costly, thought I might put it to some good use.

Jeeze it sure is pretty in the ladies section.

As the rules say anyone is welcome on here (esp. if they have useful acrylic nail info :D ) and know how to clean up after themselves & put the loo seat down :o

Arghhh there come the rules again.... especially that one about the loo seat. Next thing you know its having to wear socks and get that ###### motorcycle off the kitchen table. I better get out of here while the going is good. See you all in the nail shop, I will be the grumpy one reading the magazine by the door (without socks)....

I recently had my acrylics re-filled at Beautiful Nails in Lamai on Koh

Samui and the technician there knows precisely what she is doing,

she is very professionel. I paid 750 Baht for a re-fill which included

re-shaping and filling of the white too. They just look great and much

better than when I had them first put on. The lady does french

white tips with acrylic fill-in also, if I remember correctly, then her

price was 1,000 baht or there abouts. She also do unseen nail art.

Can highly recommed this salon.
