Some of the sums being quoted here, 25K etc would make you a high roller in London, probably one of the worlds more expensive cities for nightlife, in LOS it makes you more of an idiot than a high roller.

That does include stopping at the Offshore Bar Soi 23 on the way home

Despite a 5 baht increase in some drinks prices it's still one of the cheapest bars to get pissed so I normally start at the Offshore and never seem able to leave.

My local bar in Kennedy Town I can get smashed (on tequila and sprite) for HK$250 for 7 hours of drinking (lots of free shots thrown in)

It really all depends on where I am, who I'm with and how I'm feeling. I've had nights cost as little as 150ish baht, and I typically don't pay any more than 3000-4000 (those nights are rare, but usually quite crazy )

I'm leaving in HK, and a round will cost you around HKD 300 (4 to 5 friends). For a night out, difficult to spend less than HKD 3 to 5K if you're single, which is about 12 to 20K Thai Baht
