Visiting Korat

Featured Replies

Hi all

This is my first post to this forum.

I will be visiting thailand in april 2005 for about 4 weeks with my thai wife who comes from Phimai, the thing is, i have stayed in Phimai many times to visit the wifes kids and family, its ok for a few days, then i get so bored i have to head off to Pattaya and leave the wife behind, she doesnt mind, but suggested i stay in Korat for a little while( i have only ever passed through Korat).

Any suggestions on decent hotels(not to expensive and withen walking distance to the night life) and places to socialise at night times,i enjoy drinking and just talking with anyone who will listen , be they thai bargirls or farang locals and visitors.

Cheers

Colin
