We have a new PTT gas station just south of Muang Loei. It has B5 Biodiesel as well as the E20 gasohol. I'm quite anxious to see how my Ford Focus does on this fuel. It appears to be about 4 baht per liter cheaper.

Before you rush to fill your tanks.....

I am lead to believe that E10 and E20 fuel is very good at bringing out impurities and for want of a better word; 'gunk' out of old fuel storage tanks (the gas station underground tanks) and so cause a problem if only for your car's own fuel filter.

Ask if the tanks they are using are new or have been cleaned if they were used for straight 95 fuel in the past.

Since that gas station is only a month or so old, the storage tanks should be clean.
