July 3, 200818 yr I have a document which is full of script like this - it is Thai language but in this Format. Is it possible to convert this to Thai script? I have tried pasting into a blank Word document and changing the Font to a Thai one but that does not work. Any advice welcome. Patrick
July 3, 200818 yr ทำงานอยู่ป่ะ This is what it comes out to be. Just change the "view" "character encoding" to "Thai TIS-620"
July 3, 200818 yr Author Meadish - many thanks, that helped a lot! David - thank you too, however I tried to change the Encoding but I don't have the option of "Thai TIS-620" in Windows IE - only "Thai (Windows)" - how do I get the Encoding you mention? Finally, part of the document is in a different Style - e.g. * 2" 5@+!7- 1 - any advice on how to read that? Thanks again to both of you. Patrick
July 3, 200818 yr * 2" 5@+!7- 1 ... If not just cartoon speech-bubble type curses it could perhaps be a 'fixed font'. Hard to say, I am no expert at fonts and unfamiliar with that type of garble (the first one you posted is common though).

Patrick Rikker has done a nice job in explaining how to set us the Thai language input in Windows. See http://rikker.blogspot.com/2008/06/setting...in-windows.html for his discussion. Let us know if this works for you.
