Multi-entry Non-imm O Visa

Featured Replies

I currently have a 1-year "multiple" entry Non-Immigrant O visa from my home-country. I reside in Thailand full-time and take visa runs every 90-days. Before obtaining my latest visa, I resided in LOS over many years on a collection of tourist and non-imm visas obtained from varous embassies and consulates in the SE Asia region. These were single or double entry visas so there was never any question as to how long or many entries they were good for.

However, I have a question regarding the number of entries a "multi-entry" (aka "multiple-entry") visa is good for over its period of validity. Is it good for an unlimited number of entries during the 1 year it's valid? I read somewhere that even visas that are labeled as multiple or multi entry are in fact limited to a maximum of 3 entries during the one year. What is the rule in regards to this?

As an aside, on my initial entry using this visa, there was no mark or notation written on the visa noting an entry being used-up (as had been done previously when using a single or double entry visa). This would tend to support the belief that the number of entries is in fact unlimited during the year.

A multiple entry Non-immigrant visa is valid for an unlimited number of entries during the one year it's valid.

Yes there is no limit. Do the last entry the day before it expires and you can stretch it out to 15 months.
