i was speaking to a thai friend on messenger last night. i asked what did you eat for dinner for tonight. although there was no response, she didnt know how to explain it in english. so i asked her to use thai scripy. this is what she typed.

ข้าวผัดหมูสับ

กับต้มจืด ตำลึง

ใส่เต้าหู้

i seached on google about it and i knew the links would be in thai. maybe if i'm lucky it will have pictures. i found one. from the picture, the top one was pork, peas and rice. i guess these are just local dishes one wouldn't find in a cookery book from WHSmith's.

can anyone help me on the thai/english names please

That was 2 dishes:

ข้าวผัดหมูสับ = stir-fried rice with minced pork

and

ต้มจืดตำลึงใส่เต้าหู้ = clear tamlueng (ivy gourd) soup, with tofu
