Hey all

I am thinking about going to Yangon during the first week of August to see the city and apply for a Tourist Visa from the Thai Embassy there. Does anyone know anything about the process there? I want to make sure I can get issued a Tourist Visa on this trip, so I want to make sure the Thai Embassy in Yangon is a sure bet!!!

I'm sure you are aware of that country and it's iscolation from the international world. Therefore I would check if the Thai embassy is in fact open for business for one, as many embassies evacuated their personal, some after the hurricane, some before that due to political unrest. Good luck with it though. It's an interesting one and let us all know hpw you get on.
