One-two-go Scales Back Flight Operations

Featured Replies

Orient Thai has announced that it's grounding half of the One-Two-Go MD-80 fleet due to the weak economy.

The full Flight Global article can be read here:

maybe they will cease domestic operations completely (which, after knowing waht kind of scrupulous person its CEO Udom is, could only be applauded).

on their website you cannot book any flights after the 21st of July.

nobody would shed a tear when they disappear, as it would make Thailand's skies much safer.... i only feel pity for their staff.....

Looks like they're shut down now. They have a notice on their site "Due to an overhaul on our systems, passengers will be able to book for flights until 14 July 2008, One Two Go Airlines would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Probably the 70+ recent law suits filed against 1-2 Go (PHuket crash) are starting to hit home to management. 1-2 paid 150K Baht to each Thai victim of the accident, but not one baht to families of foreigners killed. With that arrogant attitude toward customers, they deserve to go under. :o
