What is going wrong with the youth in the uk ?

In the last 24 hours 5 young people have been murdered.

I was always concerned about the level of violence in Thailand and I used to feel safer in the uk, but now I think my opinion is changing.

Most of the violence in Thailand seems to be gang/drug related and does not relate to Expats here, but in the uk it seems to be just random.

Perhaps I am just getting old but I can not see why young people want to carry knives.
