Here's a good one! Just bought a new lens for the camera at the Big Camera "show" in Central World. As a big incentive for me to part with the substantial amount of cash, in a great fanfair they were offering an Air Asia complimentary return flight coupon BKK-to-Udon Thani. Fair play to them, they wern't hiding the fact that the free flights were just that, and subject to the usual taxes etc. and I was particularly pleased as they offered me two return coupons instead of one so I can take the Mrs for free too. That sealed the deal.

I've just checked the AirAsia website for the taxes and to see how much I'm saving on my flights with my "free flight" coupons. I should have seen this coming.

The coupon saves me the normal full cost of the return flights before taxes, which is.......................

camera lens are very expensive in Thailand. Much cheaper in Korea/Japan in my experience but at least you got a plane ticket.

nothing to be overly excited actually, as those 0-Baht plus Tax tickets can be booked on their website until 20th of July as well..... to almost all domestic destinations.... :o
