hello visa experts:)

i have a question for u:

i am hungarian, to begin with (no visa exemption or visa run).... i have done my tourist visa at home, i am in thailand now, and my 90 days expire on 5 aug. i am thinking to go to cambodia after and then come back to thailand with visa on arrival.

do u think it is possible? since i have spent already 3 months here, i am not sure...

thanks so much for help

well, you should have only received a 30 days leave to remain stamp on your tourist visa in any case, so I'm guessing you have extended your visa twice by applying for an extension at 1900 baht a pop.

In theory what you propose doing is possible, it will cost you 1000 baht, for 15 days, however you would want to make sure that the border crossing you will use, does have the facilities to issue Visa on arrival, as not all border crossings do.

Check the list at the followiong link:

So 90 days with a Tourist visa issued in Hungary.

....wanting an extra 15 days for a VOA. Taking you well beyond the 90 days within a six month period, rule.

If my understanding of that rule is correct - you might only get a short period allowed, 7 days maybe?

The 90 day rule does only apply for visa exemption stamps.

Does not apply for tourist visa.

Does not apply for tourist visa.

So the OP could apply for another tourist visa?
