Tourist Visa

Featured Replies

im under "50 years old europian man" ... i will come and enter to thailand with " 6 months tourist visa" ( multiple entry) İ will get this tourist visa from the thai consolate which in europe exist but i would like to stay in thailand another six months and maybe more 1 year.. is it possible ? how often i can apply and extent my tourist visa?( İ DONT ASK ABOUT 1 MONTH EXTENTİON, İ KNOW İT) is there any limit of tourist visa ? is there something change for a while?

SOME PEOPLE SAY THAT: "Just got back from Penang where i used an agent to apply for a tourist visa. Have TWO tourist visas issued earlier this year from singapore. Penang rejected me outright"

Thought Penang was a bit harsh rejecting me...... have been in Thailand for a total of six months this year. when i got my second tourist visa in singapore they remarked do not apply here again. Apparently Penang rejected me on the basis of that remark.. "

SO ..is there any limit to apply for tourist visa ? i mean , someday they can tell me, "no more tourist visa for you" you got enough" ! go back your country and come after 3 monhts again !! can they do me like that ? how often i can get tourist visa BACK TO BACK? is it x time? or has a time limid?

may i apply for tourist visa " X TİME " AND GET İT EACH TİME ? THANKS Leon

You seem to already know the answer - you can apply but it is up to the Consulate if they will provide. There is no set rule.

Thanks lopburi3, yes maybe i know the answer as you say..

but after all i have to check every year again and again if something diffrent in thai visa rules which often change !

Currently most Consulates do not seem to have a problem providing single entry tourist visas; and Vientiane will provide more (three month validity). So it is probably easier this year than last year.
