Do you see the Muslim majority in Phuket slaughtering their Buddhist brothers or killing foreign tourists? What about the Muslim population in Thailand that exists in all provinces, has lived here for hundreds of years and are proud to be Thai? Are they killing their neighbours?

In all religions there are fanatics who will mis-interpret and twist the meaning of the Holy scriptures of that religion. Mohammed taught his followers to love and respect the Jewish and Christian faiths, but that 'fact' seems to be ignored by the fanatics.

I have studied (and continue to study) Islam in Thailand, the Jawi communities and the groups involved in terrorist activities in southern Thailand. My own view is that these killings have little to do with Islam and the demand for autonomy/independance in the deep south. Many of these splintered and ill-managed terrorist groups have minimal knowedge of the politics and history of the region. The killings have more to do with common crime, extortion and creating a state of fear.

Sorry, but your ramblings have no merit ! You say you have studied Islam and the groups of terrorists

in the South. The fact that you call them terrorist groups indicates inside knowledge of them. Then you say that the terrorists are not terrorists but a bunch of street gangs just out for some fun.

You go on to say they are " ill-managed". It appears to me that 7 bombs in one city at the same time

shows exactly the opposite. There are many,many more killings that prove you are wrong. These bombs are not little pipe bombs that anyone can build with the powder from fireworks. These bombs are C4 or Simtex which you must be trained to use. By the terrorists using cellphones to detonate the bombs indicates a highly organized and well trained Islamic terrorist group. You go on to say that 3500 people being put to death has "little to do with Islam" or the fight for an Islamic state. You call us fanatics. Of course we are because we have not been brainwashed to the point of stupidity.

I have never heard any such statement attributed to General Custer...what is your source?

How is it unrelated? It's the same guy... in the thread, he started off as the savior of Southern Thailand. After his fraud was exposed, this is just a further update to document his complete and utter demise. If you were familiar with the News Clippings Forum, you'd already know that quoting a previous news post for an update is commonly done, irregardless of the poster of either news.
