lomatopo
Are you asking about a specific mode of transportation? Most are safe for pregnant women. If you are asking about air travel specifically then generally speaking it is OK to travel during the first two trimesters. Once you get in to the third it can get a bit tricky. Airlines can deny boarding so its adviseable to have a note from your doctor detailing the state of your pregnancy and his approval of your travel plans. I read about a woman who was denied boarding the the U.S.A. a few weeks ago, she gave birth in the airport. And then there's the BA story... Just one website with details... http://www.babycenter.com/0_airline-polici...avelers_6976.bc Edited July 21, 2008 by lomatopo
