My work visa is about to expire in September - what do I need to renew it, as in labour department, immigration etc . . .

Getting it in the first place was arduous, I hope it is easier for the renewal.

Ifyou have 1 year Non Imm B multi entry and for exmple it expires on september 4th, as long as you re-enter the kingdom on or before this date you should get another 90 days then you can renew it in December. If you simply have to renew with a new one year one now, my advice is go to KL. If you have all the correct papers you will whizz thru no worries. I have just been and done this last month.
