Sony's new video format, AVCHD is all the rage and it sure produces incredible video, but the software to edit is not very widespread yet. Has anyone found software in Thailand that allows editing in the NATIVE AVCHD format for Macintosh computers? Where could I buy it? If you have experience with AVCHD, that would be interesting on this thread as well.

I have done a bit of research into this, and the only solution I can find is to use the Windows under Bootcamp and use either Vegas or Picture Motion Browser. Each of them have their own issues.

There are other "Work Arounds" but none of them seem to give the required quality.

I wish I could have a better answer.
