chivo Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 looking to buy a used honda, 2 or 3 years old, but would prefer if it came from a certified pre-owned program from a honda dealership. you usually see this program with higher end cars like lexus and bmw where they put the car through a regimented series of tests and inspections. thanks

They offered to take my car off me in part exchange. Ive changed my mind by the way so dont ask me if im selling. pop into a show room and I am sure they could tell you.
Plus Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 It's not the same as "certified used car" business. Toyota has "Surf" or something like that, BMW and Bens have their own versions. I don't know about Honda, can't remember anything of the kind. Local dealer will simply direct you to second hand car salesmen they usually deal with.
Grant Posted July 26, 2008 Posted July 26, 2008 Toyota has that kind of service http://www.toyotasure.com/home/index.htm Honda had that service few years ago but no anymore
tango Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 As the cost of a 2nd hand Honda is close to the price of a new one, I'd consider a new one with the 3 year warranty. BTW I was told last week to put off purchase of a new Civic for a few months as they are re-styling the front end.
