Re-entry Permit For Non O-a

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

a friend of mine has a non O-A which expired in Feb, and he went to Cambodia and got stamped back in until Feb 2009. He now wants to make a trip, so I am assuming that he just needs a re-entry permit the same as those on extensions of stay.

If so are the prices I found still valid (1,000/ 3,800), and if he gets a multiple can he use that as many times as he likes? Any other paperwork required other than PP, application form, and photos?

Also what does a re-entry permit look like? Is it a stamp, or a separate document, and what are the procedures when utilising it.

Sorry for all the questions, but I have no experience with this, and would appreciate any advice as he does need a little hand holding when it comes to these matters.

Thanks,

SC.

Yes he needs a re-entry permit. Yes the prices are still 1k/3.8k. That covers the application requirements - you can send visa email to spend less time in Suan Phlu if using Bangkok (visit immigration website). It is a half page stamp with a number and expiration date and you enter that number on arrival card as your visa number for entry.
