What is a troll?

When people don't like what other people have posted they call them trolls and it seems like most people take offense at this....so what does it mean.

A troll is someone who bullsh1ts by posing you with a bullsh1t question in order for you to respond and will then take the piss!!

In the context of this forum it is someone who asks a question or makes statements to stir things up, and is not really interested in the answers.
