A large NYSE listed financial software company is looking for Technical Architects for its project at Thailand's largest bank. This is an urgent requirement. Interested candidates, please PM me with your resume.

Title: Technical Architect

Location: Bangkok, Thailand

Number of Openings: Multiple

Job Description

• Plan and perform requirements gathering activities according to project scope.
  
• Document detailed technical requirements in Technical Specification Document and related documents.
  
• Assist/co-work with Business Analysts (BA) and Software Development Engineers in software development for the project
  
• Coordinate among Customers, System Integrator and the software development teams
  
• Complete and obtain client approval for Technical Specification Document (TSD)
  
• Participate in system integration test and user acceptance test (UAT)
  

General Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or other IT related fields.
  
• At least 5 years working experience in Information Technology with 2 year in architecting solutions.
  
• Preferred experience includes system analysis and design, software development and testing. Consulting and project management experience is a plus.
  
• Excellent analytical skills, strong organizational skills
  
• Ability to interpret and code based on defined standards
  
• Experience in the banking domain is necessary, and security and performance related technologies is an asset
  
• Possess capability to work well with non-technical staff in defining requirements
  
• Self-motivated & result oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
  
• Team player and able to work in multi-cultural environment
  
• Must have the ability to interact with senior external personnel on significant functional matters often requiring coordination between organizations
  
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with aggressive deadlines
  
• Experience with software documentation utilities and job control languages is required.
  
• Experience with analysis, design methodologies such as UML, BOOCH and Object Oriented Design is required.
  
• Experience in JUnit tests and test driven development is a plus
  
• Excellent Thai and English communication with presentation skills
  

Technical Qualifications:

Strong skills in Java, EJB, J2EE/J2SE, JSP, Web Service, SOAP, SOA, HTML, XML, J2ME, MQ Series, Websphere, Weblogic, and related technologies are required.
