That's it really. Out of curiosity I clicked, expecting to see the usual BKK thing because even though I am in Phuket such things usually show me as being in BKK, and I get a little Google map confidently informing me that I am in California!

What gives?

This was noted a while ago, the geo-ip link for a number of services, probably using the same source, are giving odd results.
