August 8, 200818 yr Have you talked to any of the local nurseries? Around Chiang mai there are companies that sell mature trees for gardening/landscaping. A company like this might want a few.
August 8, 200818 yr What kind of coconuts are they? I guess depending on the quality of the tree that would depend on if they were worth it to dig up so that the root ball isn't damaged, bag them and then try to sell them.
August 9, 200818 yr Id also be interested to know how high & what variety. Just so I can compare them to mine, which seem to be growing kind of slow.
August 10, 200818 yr The locals use coconut wood for building. I suspect because it is cheap, so one might not get much for them.
August 20, 200818 yr Hi, my friend is buying 200 rai in Chonburi, which is full of 4 year old Coconut trees. He doesn't want the trees. Is there a market to uproot and sell 4 year old coconut trees? Thanks...... Thats alot of coconut trees! I have designed a project on the island of St. Marteen (dutch side) It requires over 2000 coconut trees. I will buy them out of Columbia and ship them. I am paying $150 US each plus the cost of shipping. If it were my land, I'd contact every land developer, Hotel chain, Large landscape contractor, even the Ag commission for use in street scaping. The cost of the tree will depend on what it will cost you to dig, load, and transport the trees to the new location. Plus what ever you want to make.
