Any recommendations please for a budget/not sky-high cost minivan & driver hire?

Would be a one day (all day) trip to Mai Sai to get my visa stamped, but would like to make a nice day of it and visit a couple of sites and invite a few friends along.

I have a Thai friend with a Toyota 4WD Sports Rider. His price for an all day trip to Mae Sai is B3900, including touring around and fuel.

I have 2 CM-based Thai friends with their own smart vehicles, excellent English and excellent drivers.

One has a big 5 passenger SUV with rack for 2 bicycles, the other a comfy and speedy 5 seater saloon.
