deejah Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 in regards to the Samsung A2 Nicam Stereo TV in my thai room i tired many times and in many ways to hook up a simple CD player but can not get the sound to work i know the cable and the CD player are OK tested many times however i can not for the life of me get the audio to come through on the TV hook everything up press the video button on the TV remote just get a blank screen even tried to put the audio cable into to video input and can see there is a signal on the screen then tried to hook up the RCA cables in the back of the TV then tried it on other TV sets in the building nothing so far works any ideas please help this is driving me batty thanks more here about this http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Please-t203644.html Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

petecooper Posted August 13, 2008 Share Posted August 13, 2008 I have experienced similar problems to this with some TVs in hotel rooms, when I've tried to connect my iPod via the RCA "audio in" jacks on the back. The problem is that some TV's wont allow the audio through on this means unless there is a matching video signal. If you can connect something (anything) that supplies a signal to the yellow Video jack next to the red and white Audio jacks, you'll get your sound come through, too. deejah Posted August 13, 2008 Author Share Posted August 13, 2008 thanks these are both good responses there is only one line to choose from via the remote control its the video option then i have to press the TV key to get back to watching TV i even tried channel 3 and channel 4 and the highest and lowest channels also tried it with both CD and TV volumes very high i actually tired one audio channel into the video jack i am able to see the screen dance as it is receiving the signal but the audio channel still has nothing i am dumbfonded Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
