Thailand-uk Website

Featured Replies

I have used www.thailand-uk.com in the past for its forum, Baht rate and telephone call sections. The forum seems to have been down for the past week. No great loss, as Thaivisa has far more postings and, most-importantly, members who treat each other in a generally-cordial manner. I certainly won't miss the snied and sarcastic comments of some of those Brit oddballs I go to Thailand to escape from!

<deleted>!!!!!!!! Plenty of 'em here buddy!!

Yup the Thailand-UK website has now moved - but as I am British and in Britain and a member of that website I'm buggered if I am gonna tell you the new web address!! :o

Yeah they have moved, really good info for UK visa, more than here I'm afraid to say as they have all been through the process with first hand knowledge also top info for thai food shops & England related thai things but the rest of it, not really my cup of tea, some of the guys there are nice but a lot of nobs. I re-registered today & can't seem to post, send mails anything!! Generally not a patch on TV for general chat, thailand related issues & efficicncy & technical advancement tho' :o

:D <deleted> is right :o

Barbed! :o I like it! :D

This was a new site to me. Thought I'd try and register, tried 2 different email addresses and I can't get on...............

Well i joined it before the change and they have'nt bothered to give me my new password, Don't give a toss really, was'nt really impressed.

You don't need a new password Dave, you just go to the site & it asks you for your email address & then what your old log on there was, it should then link your old account & you have access. You don't even need your old email account, I used my new work one cause they fudged it for me last time as I only had hotmail. Did have some technical problems once I was in though & they are looking at it for me but think it's related to my work pc!!

I agree with Boo that the info relating to Entry into the UK is very good indeed , it focuses on the UK as it should ( being a Thai-UK site).

But the mods / owners on there are a paranoid and insecure lot IMO.

And judging by their pictures , a load of ugly bastads.....

Ok I added that last bit for fun , go have a look anyway and let me know.

:o

Have you tried this?

It looks as though the site compliments this one.

It is for Thai's in the UK

and this is for farangs (mainly) who visit or live in Thailand
