Internet Privacy And Security

Just wondering if anyone has experiences, good or bad, in using the ********* anonymizer service out of Sweden. Basically, I'm looking for a way to get a bit of security/privacy when browsing the internet from public hotspots.

Previously I have just logged into my work machine over a Hamachi VPN, which works but is pretty slow (due to the lousy state of my work's internet connection). Looking for a cheap/fast alternative.

Unfortunately discussing proxies and/or ways to circumvent government blocks (for which they can be used) is not allowed!

Additionally internet cafe's, hotels, offices etc. are from the 15th onward required to log all the traffic from anybody using their internet connection and keep those logs for 90 days, so using a proxy system could keep those places from keeping their lawful requirements.

Thread closed, but currently under discussion with Admin and the other Mods on how we will handle this in the future.
